Hi, I'm Turfa (she/her), an RCI-registered Clinical Psychologist. I believe therapy is a space where you don't have to figure everything out alone. Whether you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or just trying to make sense of your experiences, l'm here to support you. I hold a Master's in Psychology with a specialization in Clinical Psychology and an M.Phil. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Calcutta, Kolkata. Over the past three years, I've worked as both a mental health professional and an educator, gaining experience in diverse settings. My approach to therapy is integrative and queer-affirmative, rooted in social justice and a deep commitment to making mental health care accessible and equitable. I take a collaborative and person-centered approach, meaning that I tailor therapy to fit your unique needs rather than a one-size-fits-all model. My goal is to create a space that feels calm, compassionate, and free of judgment-where you can explore your emotions, reflect on patterns, and move toward healing and growth. I use an integrative blend of trauma lens, solution focused brief therapy, mindfulness, relational, and cognitive-behavioral approaches. People often reach out to me when they're struggling with self-image, navigating relationships and attachment patterns, managing emotional distress, anxiety, stress, low mood, or coping with life transitions-whether in academics, work, or personal relationships. I welcome individuals from all backgrounds, identities, and lived experiences.
